whats the difference between the HDR400 version and the HDR10 version? the hdr10 is 1000$ on bestbuy and the hdr400 is 1700$ can someone explain it to me like im 5, is it worth it to spend the extra 700$ for the hdr400?

Just bought a 12 mini secondhand for the fun of it just to play around with. But I’m starting to use it as my daily because it’s kind of fun having a small phone that I can slip into my pocket and not even notice it’s there. I can go on bike rides, runs or trips to the gym without worrying that it’s going to bounce around in my pocket and threaten to come flying out.

I keep thinking about 4K but I get great frames at 1440p and I really can’t tell the difference 😂. So I keep sticking with 1440p I can still max everything out and it looks great. Great that hdr works as well on 1440p.

How does it do in regards to stability? Especially considering the recent reports of Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPU instabilities?

I have been using LG oled as a screen since 2022, I switched from samsung Q8C 55" to the LG oled 55" CS and recently went down to the 48" C2 Evo which has been an absolute dream to work on. I am a content creator working in Game design so this screen is used for professional work all day long as well as gaming after hours and on weekends. I tried a mini led 8k screen and a mini led 42" Samsung Q90B and hated them all. Oled is the one that rules them all. And the gaming "Monitor" versions of these screens with the anti - glare....NO. Putting an anti-glare coating on an Oled panel is retarded. Now I want to point out how bad the anti - glare coating is on screens. I had my 55" oled sitting on my dining room table facing my balcony , so huge amounts of light and reflections hitting the screen, I had my ASUS scar 18 laptop next to it. Everyone thinks the reflections will be problematic, let me tell you the anti - glare does exactly the opposite, the laptop screen was unuseable in that scenario! The anti - glare filter diffuses the reflections making them GLARE!! and makes them 3 or 4 times the size because it spreads that reflection across the screen. The reflections on the oled do not interfere with the viewing experience at all if you are viewing the screen straight on. You're vision focuses on whats on the screen being displayed and looks past the reflections, it's hard to try explain this but I can assure you a screen with anti - glare with direct lighting hitting it is horrible to use compared to a glossy display. No one get's this till they are working on both side by side in a situation where there is huge amounts of light behind them.

As a console peasant I've gamed almost exclusively on 55" for years and i sit very close <3' and do have to bring screen bounds in on all pvp games and even then with some i still have to look over at my motion detector, look up to see hunters flying in destiny so i was told to go down to at least 32" (27 preferably) and i cant see sh!t. Its a nice (i think) Samsung with 120hz and vrr and I'm 1 and 1/2 feet or less but maybe my eyes have become lazy or "tuned" to a big picture because even zooming my FOV heads are just too tiny and i cant identify armor and weapons at all. I can usually tell warlock, hunter or titan but even then sometimes not. Huge amounts of detail lost. Im told "learn to play without that detail, you dont need it" but i have to use weapons with 90+ aim assist because i cant even tell if ive fired at an ear, center of face or past the ear. Im playing in "120hz mode" which is really 80 to high 90s with vrr and it does feel just as responsive as my bigger screen and ive also slowed my cursor speed from 8 to 6. How long does it take to get used to a small screen? (pve truly sucks too, way less immersion. I call the display my "game boy" all this cool detail that the devs put in like fangs and forked tongues, eyes and eybrows and eyebrow ridges are just completely gone. Do you dudes think you miss fine detail but you just dont care because it isnt necessary?) Thanks if you have any advice because i think i just bought an expensive paperweight.

Have a 12 mini and look every couple months to see if a 15 or 16 mini will be available. Don’t want a big phone, I have a Mac desktop, Iaptop, iPad, so if I need screen area I’ll use them. I’m 72 so only need to use screen rarely. Want a phone to talk to people, hate texting. Apple needs another mini to fill the gap, satisfy the users who could care less about big screens to play games on.

I am thinking about purchasing the 3500 Pro and the 100-inch floor screen. I have my HiFi sysem 2 feet above the floor. Can I put the projector on the stand with the HiFi and get it to play normally? Or can I jack the screen 2 feet off the ground with the 3500 Pro to get the screen over the system? I have a normal home. 7 foot tall wall. Thank you for the input. I haven't heard of anyone doing this.
